Google Business Profile monitoring

Google edits your listing. You should hear about it first.

Google applies changes suggested by the public — new hours, a different phone number, a swapped category — often without telling the owner. Listing Guard checks your listing every day and emails you the day any of it changes, with what it said before and what it says now.

20 credits a month per watched listing. A new account gets 100 credits once — enough to watch 5 listings for their first month. No card required to start.

How it works

  1. Find your business

Search by name and city, and pick your Google listing. No Google sign-in is needed.

  2. We record what it says

The first check records your listing's business name, categories, address, phone number, website and opening hours. Every later check is compared against it.

  3. You hear about changes

Every 24 hours we check again. If anything changed, you get one email listing each field before and after — for hours, just the days that moved.

What it watches

  • The details customers act on

Your business name, categories, address, phone number, website and opening hours. A wrong phone number or closed-on-Saturday costs you customers the same day.

  • Removals, not just edits

A website or phone number that disappears is reported too — and so is a listing Google stops showing.

  • No false alarms from formatting

Reordered categories or a reformatted phone number are not changes. A value we could not confirm on a given day is never reported as one.

  • Honest when a check fails

If a day's check cannot read your listing, the dashboard says so and we retry within hours. A quiet dashboard means we looked and nothing moved — never that we did not look.

What it does not do

Listing Guard alerts you after a change appears on Google; it cannot stop one being applied. It also cannot see who made an edit — Google, the public or someone with access to your profile — so the email says what changed and leaves the judgement to you. To fix a change, you edit your profile in Google Business Profile as usual.
